Description
As a clinical psychologist, I help young adults with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem, spirituality, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, using cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, expressive arts, mindfulness, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. As an immigrant from The Netherlands, I’m sensitive to cultural identity issues and enjoy working with individuals of diverse backgrounds. I am also fluent in Dutch.
