Dr. Joseph Ruzbarsky, an orthopedic surgeon at The Steadman Clinic in Aspen, specializes in shoulder, knee, elbow & hip preservation surgery joint preservation and sports medicine. A Scranton, PA native, he excelled in academics and athletics at the University of Pennsylvania, later graduating with honors from medical school. He completed a residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery, followed by fellowships at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, collaborating with U.S. Ski & Snowboard Teams. Dr. Ruzbarsky actively participates in research on joint injuries and embraces the beautiful surroundings of the Roaring Fork Valley by skiing, hiking, and cycling in his free time.
